Hey, I'm Oli 👋

I'm the founder and sole writer behind OlitechGames. I started this site back in 2023 because I was tired of two things: pay-to-win mobile games and gaming sites that clearly never played the games they were writing about. I wanted to create something different — a place where you get honest, human-written reviews and safe, tested downloads.

I've been gaming since I could hold a controller. My first console was a PlayStation 1 (Crash Bandicoot and Spyro were my childhood), and I've owned just about everything since — PS2, PSP, Xbox 360, PS4, Nintendo Switch, and a growing collection of retro handhelds. These days, I mostly play on Android and PC, but I still dust off the PSP for some God of War or WWE SmackDown vs. Raw when nostalgia hits.

Why I Started OlitechGames

The original idea was simple: I had a folder full of tested PPSSPP ISOs that I kept sharing with friends. One friend said, "Why don't you just put these online?" So I did. The site grew from there — first PSP games, then Android APKs, then football mods, and eventually news and reviews. I run this site by myself, which means every download is personally tested, every review is my honest opinion, and every news post is something I actually found interesting.

I don't use AI to write my reviews. I don't copy-paste from other sites. I play the game, form an opinion, and write it down like I'm talking to a friend. Sometimes that means pointing out flaws. Sometimes it means getting genuinely excited about a mod that surprised me. Either way, it's always honest.

My Philosophy on Mods

I'm a big supporter of the modding community. Games like FIFA 14 and FIFA 16 are still alive today because passionate fans refuse to let them die. The DFL mods, the FTS updates, the Shin Budokai 7 additions — these are labors of love. I share them because I want more people to experience what the modding community has created. I always try to give credit where it's due and direct people back to the original modders when possible.
